Research at Horizon Málaga

How do culture, gender and emerging technologies shape people's ability to act and to take responsibility? This question connects Horizon Málaga's areas of inquiry and helps guide its projects, learning activities and international cooperation.

We use the term research-informed to describe work grounded in relevant scholarship, comparative perspectives and evidence from practice. The scope and methods of any formal study are defined with its research partners. The academic publications and doctoral work of Ines Caloisi are identified below as her individual contributions, rather than company research outputs.

From inquiry to application

Depending on the collaboration, activities may include literature-based exploration, comparative mapping, interviews or participatory work subject to appropriate safeguards, research-practice workshops, learning resources, policy-oriented briefs and project evaluation. We publish specific methods, partners and results on their own pages when they are available.

Founder’s academic research

Ines Caloisi is a doctoral researcher in the Equality and Gender programme at the University of Málaga. Her thesis explores the relationship between responsibility culture, gender equality and artificial intelligence, and how culture shapes responsibility and social transformation. The doctorate is her independent academic work and should not be read as a formal institutional affiliation between Horizon Málaga and the University of Málaga.
